hello all

i got this problem from about..... 4 days......



1. all my smiles were cleared from the list so.... i have configured out every smile again

2. i saw my smilies... but anyone from my contacts can see them

3. when i restart msn and connect..... all my smilies are cleared from the config list again.....


i have reinstaled msn & plus 3 times... but i have the same problem (latest version june 2nd) im getting tired...... all the configuration works perfectly excepts the smilies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i need someone help right now !!!!! PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i'm not sure this will fix your problem but make sure that the "this is a shared ...." isn't ticked

tools > options > privacy >

make sure the last 2 box aren't ticked

If the boxes that toddy mentioned arent ticked an its still not workin theres nothin else u can do than get rid of all ur emotes and then add em again: go to C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger. Where C is your system drive and User is your user name, now choose what you think is the folder corresponding to ur email adress and delete the "CustomEmoticons" folder in it. Then restart MSN and re-add your emoticons, either manually or by using an adder/manager wich can be found at www.mess.be
