Ok well the other day i wa doing rename contacts then it said u will not be able to see emoticons in names. I cliked ok. then i didnt like it so when i got rid of the people names. Emoticons just come up as name then it's annoying please help me sort it out. Thx. - Anton

maybe they have the heart and rose in thurr name.

You still need to turn custom names off.
Go to Plus! menu > preferences > contact list > custom contact names > and uncheck it there>
That should to it

In MSN Messenger click Contacts > Manage Contacts > View Contacts By > and select Display Name, this will show emoticons.

Nope nuthin

If you have custom names enabled then Emoticons will NOT show up.
