Forgive me if this is the wrong place, or if this idea has already been mentioned (I've looked), but I'd love to be able to do a google search on selected text in my messenger window - like one can do from a web page if Google toolbar is installed.

You can download Stuffplug by DJMystic (not stuffplug ng) at http://plugins.msgplus.net and use this command when you have it intalled:
/xgoogle <keywords>

you can do that without any plugin, just make a quicktext:
Quicktext: http://www.google.com/search?q=(!P)
Alias: /google

(but StuffPlug-NG, and other plugins which have the google search command, have some more functionality with this command)

It would be cool to be able to just select the text, right click, and be there though, wouldn't it ...

U can't have it all

but i do like the idea of it, especially when it is a long txt, but i never use too many keywords. exept when i'm stripping a subject.
