any way to make a pluggin to protect my
own emoticons ?

like to protect them from those softwares that
are used to steal the once you make ?

or does anybody know of one plugg-in
already make with that function ?

no. that can't be done, because of the way that the custom emoticons work.

THe image files are sent to the person you are talking to. the CE stealers just make them into readable images (changing the file extension).

so theres no way to protect them

Maybe u can get their IP by simply asking them (!IP) then block it, would that work, or no im not making any sense here.

anyway, even if it could be done anybody could steal them already making screenshots  n_nU

I think you should take a "free and open source" filosophy with your emoticons

The only way to prevent people from stealing your custom emoticons, is to not use them in conversations with people

Bach_m explained exactly right in that the files are sent to the other persons computer to display them. So sorry, but if it bothers you that much, you'll just have to stop using them

but it was worth trying

I also made my own set of paint shop pro made emoticons.. and I share it with my friends, and I'm proud that everybody liked my emoticons

I release my emoticons under the copyleft license

the only thing I wouldn't like is that some of them said that they made those emoticons and not me ¬¬  .. but well... they are my friends!..
