O.P. Is there an alternative to Blocking?

Instead of blocking a contact, can I appear to be always "Busy" to them all the time for a particular contact, even when I'm offline?

Is it possible to appear Online even when you're not?

Nope Closing your Connection Disconnects you from MSN Messenger Server, you cannot Select a user to only see you as "busy" or any other Status, Unless someone made a plugin, I dont know if this would be possible by showing "busy" or any other status by finding That users IP adress and then showing ur status.
