I just installed StuffPlugNG and restarted MSN Messenger. But StuffPlug isn't recognized. It's not in the plugin list of MsgPlus. I tried to reinstall StuffPlug, but that didn't work. It's still not there. I am using Windows 98 SE, maybe that's the problem? Somebody in another topic also had this problem with Windows 98 SE.

go to www.stuffplug.com and click  FAQ that might have some info

Yeah i already checked that but there's no info about this problem.

Try doing what suggested there.

Is there a previous version downloadable that is still compatible with win98?

i installed it now, and it works!!! i don't know why, but it works!!!

He explained why it works, basically the installer wasn't compatible with the operating system that you are running, so the 'stuffplug.dll' didn't copy itself into C:/Program Files/Messenger Plus! 3/Plugins/ directory, and stuffplug.dll is a required component for the plugin, thats the reason the plugin didn't work.

It works now because tb has made it compatible
