i have no idea how tall the icons beside the clock grew in size, they are almost double in size, check the screen shots for proof,

how do i fix this problem?

Right click in an empty space in your desktop > Properties. From the Themes list, select "Windows XP" and click Apply. Is it OK now?

I think what it needs is this:

Right click the task bar. Make sure there is NO check mark next to "Lock the Task Bar". Resize the menu the way you want it, then right click the task bar again and make sure there IS a check mark next to "Lock the Task Bar". This should do the trick.

All I can see are very normal icons (compared to all the rest), but I do see a very small system font though...

The pictures are too small, so I don't really understand what the problem is.
