I'm not sure if this is a real bug.

When I have my personalised status enabled, it shows my auto-message after I type something, not my contacts.

Is that normal?

I think the auto-message should only be displayed if the contacts send the message.

This is normal, thekid, and has been like that since Away-Message was added into Messenger Plus! three years ago

It responds to all messages typed...no matter if it's you or your contact typing (normally you use personalized status with automessage when your away from your computer and want to leave ppl who contact you a message)....as Mnjul said....completely normal
