There seems to be a problem with my Events Log because every once in a while, around 1000 lines of "gibberish" or random characters will be inserted at random places in my Events Log (see attached screenshot). I was wondering if this is a bug and if there is a way to prevent this from happening because it gets really annoying really fast.

STATS:
- Using MSN Messenger version 6.2.0137
- Using Messenger Plus 3.20.100
- Using Microsoft Windows XP operating system with Service Pack 2 (SP2)

did you try to reinstall plus?

It seems like Plus! is writing encrypted data to the event log. Try changing the path that the even log is saved to and see if it still happens.
