I have a mirror based bot, and it's been working fine for a while now.

However, recently I've noticed that if someone adds one of the mirrors while it's offline, the MSN server sends '16' as the principals list value.

This cannot be correct (Unless there is a list I am unaware of has been added).
Usually, You would be able to use "$ListVal & 14" and it returned 8, if they were only on the RL. 16 would be the next list up from 8 (RL).

Anyone know about this issue (or how to handle it)?

Not sure where the 16 is coming from: it doesn't seem to be a list at all. You'll find it's probably the server messing up rather than anything else.
