To use colour in your name, just open a conversation window, type /nick and a space and press ctrl-k. Then click the colour you want, type your name and press enter. If you want to use multiple colours, just use ctrl-k in your name multiple times, right before where you want the colour to show up. Take a look at the following example:

i mean as in the name u can change all the time

This is the name that you can change all of the time, MSN won't allow you to do this in the main window because it doesn't recognise the characters that plus! uses in there... all you would need to do is:

if you change you name to something with color, then edit it between the hex's.... or u could just use the /nick command, it wouldn't be too hard to do that every so often..
