O.P. Personalized Statuses Remove Colours
When I enter a personalized status mode, Plus! removes my colour tags in my name. But luckily, when I switch back to a regular status mode, such as Online or Away, the tags return.

Windows Version: Windows XP, 5.01.2600
Messenger Client Version: 7.0.0425
Messenger Plus! Version: 3.40.0110

Didn't happen to me with those builds.
Try upgrading to Plus! 3.40.0112, and seeing if the problem persists.
