For some of my contacts i selected the option to get notifications when they change their name.

I have noticed that it doesnt always work. For example, if one of my contacts changed name from john to johnny the notification will say

Johnny changed his/her name to Johnny

It should say John changed his/her name to Johnny

This bug might very well be fixed in the next version

yes i think i have noticed this myself but until now never really thought much of it. i do hope this has been fixed in new version.

yeh, it's strange because i'm like, it says they changed their name... but the toast says it hasn't

it should take the previous name, unless there is a problem getting the previous name...

The bug has been fixed cause I kept bugging Patchou about it.

Fixed as of when?
Because i was still getting the error about 13hrs ago (havnt seen a name change notification since then though)

oh i thought Matty meant it was fixed now....... oh well no big deal, im sure i can live with the name changing notifications being a bit buggy

glad to hear that 3.50 fixes this problem
