Hi, Can anyone help me with a problem I have related to Powerpoint? I've tried to add a movie I've taken from my digital camera, but when I try to insert it onto a slide, it says 'Powerpoint couldn't insert a movie from the selected file. Either the file is non-standard, or Quicktime is not installed properly'. I've checked that my Quicktime is working from the Apple site, and it's in working order and the software itself says its the standard edition. Any reason why it doesn't work?

You could give a little more information, version of office and file type + bit rate of movie for example...Try reinstalling QuickTime...

Errr.. powerpoint 2000, and the movie is a Quicktime movie file..dunno about the bit rate, I'm just someone who uses the basics...

Yeah I was thinking of doing that, but my internet is like 56k lol..bah well, I'll give it a go.
