Hey Guys,

I hear this might not be possible, but it would be great if there was a plug-in that enabled you to be Nickname1 to some of your contacts, and Nickname2 to another bunch of contacts...

Is this in any way possible?

You can have a different nick for chatting, but that's for all contacts... Take a look at http://stuffplug.com/?act=faq&id=24

Maybe ur contacts Custom named you differently, but I don't think there's any way.

yea.. i like this idea, i asked about it last year...shame it cant be done if it could i imagine it would be a hell a lot of coding having to set msn to send diferent names to diferent contacts....

Millenium edition coded a proxy for the older versions of msn that could do this, but even then there where problems associated with it. And now it wont work with messenger 7.
So it used to be possable. And i think it still should be unless there have been major changes in the protocol. Maybe a proxy like MD or Dimension will add it.
