How can i use an animated gif as an avatar?I can use them but they wont "play".

I presume you mean in MSN? You have to have Dynamic Display Pictures... NOT animated gifs

I thought msgplus would allow me to use animated gifs.

It (if even possible) would be Highly difficult to do... many ideas have been brought up and shot down around here.
