Same story... When you've good a decent browser which enables the "default browser" in a good way, it will work without a problem.

Try what Markus has suggested (after setting your browser to the default one).

EDIT: If it doesn't work with Maxthon, then blame the browser and switch to a more decent one

It doesnt seems to work for excel hyperlink!

I have SPNG and changed the values to "Maxthon' only in Application folders (the rest was already changed). This works only for Hotmail and doesn't work for the links.
But I don't check mail with browser at all, I have to open the links with Maxthon! Does anybody have any ideas yet?

Is there anyway to make these work with avant?

This reg file can let me open links in maxthon. however, it also has the spng_redir.html opened in notepad, instead of maxthon. weird.

Actually, all you need to do is make sure Maxthon (or another preferred browser) is the default (open) handler for .html files

I use maxthon browser, and when i goto opetions, and set as default browser it NEVER works....
