I am just wondering if it is possible to add animated custom emoticons in msn messenger 7, without using any plugins.

if a plugin is necessary, is there any reccomendation?

Adding animated emoticons (gifs) is possible without any plug-in. Just use Extra --> My emoticons and hit the "create" button. Select the file, add a shortcut and description if u like. That should do it (At least it worked for me)

instant message window
click emotions
then click more

click create, then browse
search for a animated emotion, and click open. give it a shortcut and click ok

not without a plugin AFAIK, stuffplug ng has Large Custom Emoticons featre, as well as many more...you can get it from www.stuffplug.com
