I recommend you to stick with ZoneAlarm.
Other free firewalls work the same manner as ZA, minor differences, but they're lot like.
Sygate for example gave me a specific problem with my 2 PC's LAN (starting MSN Messenger's session on one caused the other one reboot, but well, who knows...)

My recommendation goes to Agnitum Outpost Pro. Check out a good review of it over at PCPro.

It isn't the full internet security suite, but it is one of the best firewalls you can get (uses least resources and has one of the highest levels of security).

Mnjul, what do you want it for? what are your needs?

If you have Windows XP, use its firewall and done.

If you have a couple of $ to spend, buy Mcafee. I have Mcafee Personal Firewal(2004 version), and it's quite good .

If I were you I would seek advice from professionals. As in, sites that specialise in firewall testing. That is what I did.

Look at tests and reviews. If you're going to buy a firewall make sure you researched it first (although you probably already do this - hopefully). Don't try something just because someone says "it's good".

That's my 2 cents.
