O.P. Huh?  Perhaps a sticky explaining what plug-ins are to beginners?
Plug-ins are one of those things that needs explaining to people who have never met them. As far as I can see, it's something you can download and install to make an existing program better.

But a real definition and explanation would be neat ^^ so if a mod endorses this idea for a sticky, maybe someone could do that~~~~
