yeah, almost all the survay's on microsoft have a "fake" option asking if u have P1, P2, P3, P4 or P5...

if u select P5, they obviously know ur a n00b and wont let u join the testing/or whatever

I think the Pentium 5 is the new dualcore, Pentium D.

It was the beta testing survey or whatever.

There is no official Pentium 5, but many people (technicians and alike) seem to consider the newest Dual Cores, and Extreme Editions as a Pentium 5.

The processor industry isn't going anywhere fast atm, so I wouldn't expect an official Pentium 5 anytime soon.

Either 4 was, Fourjays.

They just change when they feel too, a P4 is a P3 but highly clocked, etc.

Probably when they start reaching the 4 GHZ range, they'll kick out P5

There is a "Pentium 5" but it's not called that, They have not been released yet but are on schedule for next year.

They are not the Pentium D, Pentium-M or Pentium EE.
