O.P. can't see standart emotions in MSN display name

Hi people!
Strange it always worked fine for me.But I had some problems with pc and I had to reinstall everything..
Now instead of emotions in display names i see the shortcuts like (L)

...
how can it be fixed?

if you are using Plus! and you enabled custom names, then that's the reason: it's a limitation of that feature.
So if you want to see the emoticons again, you will have to disable the feature.
