Hello Everyone,

I have been searching a bit for a way to find out this, so if anyone knows of a program or way to do this it would be nice

I started encrypting my chat logs when Messenger Plus introduced chat log encryption a year or so ago.

I was wondering if there is a way to remove the encryption of those files automatically so I can have them as normal text files.. I have the passwords just if I was to go through each one searching for messages it would take me ages.

Do you know If i could get this removed ?

Hi, I do have the password for the files. I just want something to remove the password protection from them

Unselect the option in plus > preferences > privacy protection > passwords and it will ask you if you want to decrypt encrypted logs, this will only work for the logs in the main (current) directory. To decrypt logs in subdirectories you will need to do a lil workaround, see "CookieRevised's reply to Encrypted Chat Logs".
