I think it would be cool if you could put your own sounds for incoming emails for both pop and hotmail account(s).

Do you mean the sound when you get an email? because you can just change that by replacing C:\Program Files\MSN Messenger newemail.wav with a different sound.

Or even better, just choose another sound in MSN Messenger > Tools > Options > Alerts and sounds > Sounds button > MSN Messenger > New mail.

It works for both, make sure you specify a full path to the sound file.
