my msn keep signing out, about every 30 minutes, and then it silmontainously (or however u spell it) signs back in. and the only reason I notice it is becuase the "Mood Today" pops up. Also phoenix sometimes gives nickname errors and when i change my status, all it does is change the icon in the systray, but i stay online.

It's really annoying

sry for double posting, but it's really annoying and i'd like to get it fixed

i had 7.5.0322, but i uninstalled it and installed 7.5.0311, but it became even more frequent and noticeable

have you tried doing a total Clean install of MSN Messenger? by uninstalling msn messenger an then deleting the MSN Messenger folder in Application Data folder? C:\Documents and Settings\xxx\Application Data\Microsoft\MSN Messenger <-- an deletethat folder an then delete the MSN Messenger Reg Key in thge registry
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software/Microsoft\MSNMessenger <-- an delete the MSNMessenger an reinstall?

But before doing what Animal suggested, test with a clean unmodified version of MSN Messenger and (most importantly) remove any plugins and/or addons you have.

(eg: Messenger Discovery "tampers" with the connection, so that might be a cause. Some plugins might interfear or at least slow down the processing and thus causing time-outs, etc...)
