hi, i recently have  not had any problems with Messenger Plus.
the other day i decided to sign on with the status "appear offline".
now i cant seem to find the way to return to signing on "online" anymore.

how do i return back to the normal signon?

It should be in the same spot as signing in as appear offline... Just go and select the online...

Oh, and by the way... This is a MSN Messenger thing... should have nothing to do with Plus!

yea thats where i thought it would be too, but its not giving me the option to go back to signon as online anymore. the signon status is gone. im just going to uninstall messenger and reinstall it.

what about when you do sign in as " Appear offline " go to the area near your Display Picture in that drop down menu an choose " online"   a black Dot should aappear near it when you choose it.once thats done. choose to sign off an exit Messenger From System tray an restart it from Programs Menu

yea once i sign in as offline, im able to change it back to online. but thats such a hassle having to do that every time. i think i solved it though. i unchecked everything in the beginning like save email, password, sign on automatically, and then logged back on that way. and the sign in status came back. thanks for you help though.

maybe you just try to cancel automatical sign in and then it gives u an option to choose 'sign in' appearing online
