O.P. Demo launch
I recently installed the demo for Battle for Middle-earth II, yet I'm having trouble starting the game. Every time I click on the application a window comes up saying:

game.dat - Unable To Locate Component

This application has failed to start because d3dx9_27.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can fix this?
Thank-you.

Chances are the game didn't install compleatly. Check the file you downloaded it the right size by going to where you first got it and comparing. If it is, the reinstall the game.
