not everything was deleted then.. system restore removes any system changes that were made since the when the restore point was made. but it doesn't affect your personal data files..

formating is the complete removal of everything on the hard drive, including the system, if it is on the hard drive you are formating

anyway, try uninstalling plus! and your msn as well... and then install them from the official sites

That is not a format.... a format is when you totaly whip your hard drive clean with no files what so ever.

Check for any Messenger Plus! files in c:/program files/Messenger Plus!/ and in the registry.

When it says "would you like yo unistall or repair.." click unistall, then once its unistalled restart your PC/laptop. Once its restarted install it again. You shouldn't have a problem then because you would have unistalled it. If the problem persits i will try to think of something else. In the meantime try the above.

Thanks vaccination, i decided to format my laptop completetly, and install msn 7.5 and msg plus 363, however i have the same screen, so should i still click uninstall?

i've formated my laptop, so the folder was deleted by its self,
