O.P. OneCare and MP!L Installer
This isn't really MP!L's fault for this bug, but nevertheless a bug involving MP!L

In Windows Live OneCare 1.5.1785.18, when after I did my virus scan, it displays that the Messenger Plus! Installer was potentially harmful and was removed.

And obviously MP!L is not harmful, and therefore a Bug by Microsoft.

ADMIN: I'm not really sure where to put this. Please move it as you wish.

I actually had no problem with Onecare 1.5.1785.18, it detected stuff earlier, but using the new and shiny admintools, you can set onecare to ignore, and the problem is solved.

It's detecting the sponsor's installer, which is packaged inside the main installer. The detection is actually incorrect, since the sponsor program is not a Trojan at all.

And since the installer is detected, it doesn't matter whether you installed the sponsor or not.

Same here. No Sponsor installed, and no alerts from OneCare 1.5
