I think there is a script or plugin that allows you to change the default browser for opening your e-mail, spaces, live today and such links to a different browser such as Firefox rather then IE. but I am unable to locate it.

can anyone tell me where I can find such a script or plugin. or a way to change it without a script.

IE does not work on my computer so it's rather frustrating to have to open firefox and re-log in every time I get an e-mail.

any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

saddly I cannot.
stuff plug can't find my messenger installation, when I try to install it it tells me to install windows live messenger first.

I've also had problems with stuff plug crashing my messenger in the past. as I already have messpatch on it.

Stuffplug is the only way. It should work with Mess Patch. It only works on 8.1 and 8.5. For 8.5 see this:

thank you very much that indeed got stuff plug to work. though now my mess patch is being weird and has been applied or something three times so now I have three of the same button. @___@;;; trying to figure out how to remove the patch so I can fix it...

remove messenger using Add/remove programs and then reinstall messenger, then reapply the patch....that should work.
