Hey, I have set Firefox as my defualt browser in Windows, however, when I click the mail button in the main MSN Window, Internet Explorer is opened. I would like to know how to make Firefox open instead.

I'm not too sure, but I possibly ned to change the program that is launched when clicking the button, since MSN isn't recognizing that Firefox is the default for checking mail. However, when I recieve a link from someone in a conversation, Firefox opens.

Any help much appreciated.

I haven't used it in forever because it seems to have stopped being developed but if you're still using MSN Messenger, you can use Stuff-Plug Ng http://www.stuffplug.com I'm fairly sure it only works with MSN Messenger 7.5 and below. Stuff Plug 3 will hopefully be released shortly and that will work with Windows Live Messenger only.

Edit// Also, if you're looking for another program that works right now for Windows Live Messenger, I think MessengerDiscovery Live may do the trick for you. I'm not 100% sure about this though.

Ahh, I see, thanks for the suggestion. When its available for Live, I'll get it.

But surely there must be a way to edit how the mail opens without a plugin?

Not without significantly modifying the Messenger EXE.
