What happened to personalised status hotkeys?

O.P. What happened to personalised status hotkeys?
With previous versions of Messenger and Plus! I have made extensive use of hotkeys for setting my personalised statuses, so I couldn't help noticing that this doesn't appear to be possible in Plus! Live.  Will this feature be added at a later time or does Live Messenger now make it impossible to use hotkeys?

It is hoped by oh so many of us (especially me) that this feature will be resurrected before too long ;)
