the problem i hav is that nun of the names r cumin up in culur and on my toolbar i cliked on plus and then preferences then on customise.i then tiked the box that ses use formating attributes to culur contact names in messenger windows.i then cliked on ok and apply but it sed i needed to restart messenger for it to make a difference but nuthin hapend.HELP PLZ!!!

Can you use other features of MP!L like emotcion sounds, get a list of commands when u type "/" in an conversation window, etc. If you cant then-

I'm currently working on possible ways to make Messenger Plus! Live more "patch friendly" but in the meantime, remember to always ensure that you are using a clean Messenger before you report any problem.

Please don't double post.

And you can colour your display name using BBcode-like tags.

[b][/b] - Bold
[i][/i] - Italic
[u][/u] - Underline
[s][/s] - Strikethrough
[c=<colour>][/c=<colour>] - Text colour (specify in closing tag for gradient)
[a=<colour>][/a=<colour>] - Background colour (specify in closing tag for gradient)

There's also the old way using /nick and Ctrl+K so colours can be seen in older Messengers.

i am facing a problem concernig windows live messenger plus:
i cannot see the nicknames of my contacts formatted. For example, instaed of a coloured nickname i can only see symbols like [c=1].......[/c].

In the plus! preferences window, click on customize! and make sure "Use formatting attributes to color contact names in Messenger windows" is ticked
