Hi there,

i searched this forum, but no answer found.

I installed the latest livemessenger and after that the plus! addon.
The same i've done on my other pc, which is working fine.

But my first installation has a problem:
When i chat with somebody, sounds like "rrrring" work normally, but when i send a sound or music out of the online-db, no sound comes around. I think, all plus! functions make no sound on my first pc. I deleted all and installed it twice, but the problem is not gone. I can't hear any sound or musik, even when somebody send a sound to me. I use no plugins and Windows XP Professional with SP2.

please help me or tell me, where i can find the fault

that was also my first idea, but also the "integrated sounds" are still not working. Firewall disabled takes also no effect.

*edit*
when a messege-window is in background, there comes "dingringding" when i recive a messege so my speakers work (LOL).

note: in Messenger Plus! Live, built-in sounds are also fetched from the server (this was done to minimize the size of the setup). This means that they can be blocked by firewalls too.
