My web cam turns on then automatically shuts off. Why is this?

Is this happening during msn webcam conversations or simply when youre trying to take pictures/videos, or also at anytime your on the computer?

It sounds a lot like a misconfiguration of your webcam-settings

In MSN you can launch a wizard who helps you step-by-step in configuring your webcam and microphone to use with MSN..

Also, please include your webcam brand and model number, if possible.  It does indeed sound like a misconfiguration, though.

I actually got this problem too.

This is only with 1 person during a confersation when i invite her to see me through webcam. She accepts the invitation but then the webcam automatically shuts off. And lately its also that she doenst see a invitation when i send it. Its also the same problem when she sends a invitation. I dont see it

My webcam is a Logitech Fusion
