O.P. Uninstall error NVIDIA nFore Networking Controller
When I try to unistall something, I get this error:
What does it mean and how do I fix it?

And just then I got this.

Great. I think my drivers are fuxxed.
If only I could find my XP install disc!

Edit: It's not all uninstalls but I've got similar errors on two.
The first one was when I was uninstalling a "PSP Type B driver". Maybe this could have cause the problem. I didn't think I really needed it as I didn't always have it.

I don't really want to install any new drivers because I don't exactly know what I'm doing. If I installed a nvidia driver wrong it could cause a lot of problems...

That's exactly what you need to do to fix the problem.

It's easy, just follow the steps. The driver might have it's own installer (probably since it's from Nvidia), like what you'd use to install a game. It might also be just the files, then you just tell the Windows wizard where you have saved the driver, and it will read it itself.

If you installed the driver wrong, it wouln't cause anything worse than what's already there, however to install them badly would take a lot of expertise and effort. It's difficult to mess up driver installation.

Ok, so where do I start?
When I was just having a look around, in the control panel under add hardware, it says installed hardware "NVIDIA nForce Netwroking Controller". The icon has a red X through it saying it is disabled. I remember back when my pc was new that a nvidia thing had to be disabled because it caused my pc to slow right down until it didn't boot.
I don't want to install something that will cause the slow pc problems again...

Download the current drivers from Nvidia. Then you will see if it has it's own installer.

This shouldn't slow down your PC.
