Its now telling me to download ..Registry Mechanic 5.2.. should i download?
Or Would This Give Me A Virus!?

what's telling you to download Registry Mechanic 5.2?

make sure you downloaded these two programs from the official pages:
windows live messenger -> http://get.live.com/messenger/overview
plus! -> http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/

if you did not, then uninstall the ones you have, and do a anti-virus check.
none of these should be asking you to download registry mechanic.

I tried downloading Messenger Plus and and error accured..about its not a valid win32...then someone gave me a site to go on for an easier download and its telling me that before i download Messenger Plus i have to download ... Registry Mechanic 5.2..
I'm confused!!!

You may also try clearing your cache

in firefox, click tools and options, click on privacy, cache (press clear cache now)

in internet explorer click tools, internet options, click on delete files and then ok

then try downloading from the official plus site http://www.msgpluslive.net/download/
