O.P. Contact Renaming
I used to use Messenger Plus and I set it so that for certain contacts their display names appeared as their names e.g. John Smith. However, I installed MSG Plus Live over the top of this and they still appear. How can I get rid of them?

Thanks

Rob

Just to confirm, you have upgraded to Windows Live Messenger and you installed Messenger Plus! Live, correct?

Well, I can't see how you can have Contact Renaming feature in Messenger Plus! Live. It's not possible because it's not included in MP!L because WLM has it's own 'nickname' feature.

So, you can try right-clicking the contact and see if you can 'Edit Contact' and remove the nickname (which is a WLM feature, by the way).

And I highly doubt that you can right-click a contact and go to Messenger Plus! Features > then something to do with the rename feature..
