Alrighty, three days ago, I tried to downgrade back to 7.5 from Live. For the first few days, everything was running smoothly. Then, yesterday, I discovered that I could not view emoticons in contact names, offline or online. I could see them in my own name, however. They even did not show up during conversations.

I've upgraded temporarily, but I would appreciate it if somebody could help me.

P.S: I was using MsgPlus and StuffPlug-NG.

Check if this option is ticked:
Tools>Options>And tick Show Emoticons and Custom Emoticons.

I checked that yesterday. No difference.
