ever since signing upto windows live plus, i have had popups randomly coming up. i beleive that windows live plus is the cause. i have popup blockers and such but these dont work. is there a way for me to get rid of these popups from these sponsors and such? it makes it hell surfing the web

You can uninstall the sponsor program by closing down your messenger and internetbrowser completely (full exit, so all components will be unused, you can't uninstall what's in use ) then on to add/remove programs, there select Messenger Plus! Live and sponsor...select sponsor only when prompted....proceed.

Note: if you previously used an ad/spyware removal program the uninstaller might be damaged and the uninstallation of the sponsor will be unsuccesful. In that case reinstall Plus! with sponsor once more and proceed to uninstalling the sponsor as described above.

isnt that windows live today what you mean? in the options you can disable it.

or its the sponsor, then do like sunshine said.

And there's no such thing as windows live plus only Windows Live Messenger and Messenger Plus! Live.

not necessarily. cuz i use a-patch and all that stuff i dont need (live today button) and some other things are moved or REmoved (i like to move it xD)

you said check box, i read button . where is that 'check box'?

ah in that window. now i understanmd. but i never saw this check box, cuz live today pops up once then i patch msg and never see it againm. so no time to read the whole blah.
