for some reason i cannot log into msn and msn says its because something is wrong with my host files but nothing i do fixes it and neither can msn.

i tried letting msn repair itself, uninstalling then reinstalling and also i tried removing some possible virus threats. can anyone help me PLZ?

Go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc
Open hosts in notepad.

It should say:

Delete the whole file.

Remove the file extension from the attachment and place in:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

Or

Save this to:
C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc

ok problem fixed. i used cookierevised's solution. thx to eveyone who helped
