I thinks there's already a function to add time to sent/received messages in WLM.

yes, they're an already existing function that does this, although it doesn't show the SECOND the message was sent/received, just hour and minute.

to enable it, at the top of your WLM screen go to Tools > Options > Messages > make sure the box of "Show Timestamps on messages" is checked
