this problem happened to me 2 days ago .. i was online from my email account on windows live messenger and it got stuck and i had to close it from the task manager .. since then whenever i sign in from my email account it gets stuck i tried to sign in from different accounts and i didnt face any problems !! i tried reinstalling windows live messenger or msn messenger but the problems didnt go .. so plz someone help me asap .. thx

Try un-installing, and removing it's folder in C:\Program files\MSN Messenger, also try clearing the registry. CCleaner can do this.
