O.P. How to get chat history with email
Hi,

I have set the chat logging to 'Save by e-mail' in the Messenger plus! Live Preferences-->Conversations-->Chat Logging.

How is this working? I did not get any email.

Will I receive after each conversation a email with chat history?

i think what your refering to is not what you think

save by e-mail means that the logs will be saved in files based on the contacts e-mail address, as apposed to being saved by date

so in other words, if you had it set to saved by date, it would save i new file for each contact, each month, and put each months file in another folder(ie february 2007)
if it was set to save by e-mail address, i beleive it saves every conversation in a folder named after that contact

neather of these settings sents you the conversation in an e-mail

sorry if i'm not making sence

That could make sense. But is there a way to save the history online?
If I am working on different machines I would like to have access to the history of both machines.

might be possable with a script, to upload the conversation file to a server. but i've never worked with FTP in scripts, and theres probualy some other challanges to work around,

but no there is no simple premade option to store logs online
