Hi,

Is there any way I can change the font for a user. I mean, I am developing a script according to which the user has the option to select one of two possible interfaces when he logs in and I want to be able to stablish a font for each interface meaning that both incomming and outgoing messages should be displayed using that font.

Can someone please help?

For Plus! 4.x you can, but it requires the user to restart Messenger.

The font is saved in the registry, so changing that registry key will change the font. But in order for this to work, Messenger needs to reload that setting and for that you need to restart Messenger after you've changed it. So this isn't exactly what you want I assume but there is currently no other way to do it.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\MSNMessenger\PerPassportSettings\<your windows live id hash*>\IM Format

The 'IM Format' value is REG_BINARY and consists of some size settings, and the font name.
