If anyone can remember that official script where it alerts you when you recieve a personal message on this forum.

Could anyone make a script where when you recieve a PM (Personal Message) on a vbulletin forum it alerts you on MSN with a toast pop-up. Preferably they could be a panel to select the URL of the vBulletin forum, but I don't mind editing the code if I need to.

I'd be very grateful, and I'm sure others would be too.

I guess it is easier if you just enable the option to receive a notification message whenever you get a PM, this way msn will pop saying there is a new message from board X and you will know about the PM.

"msn" will only pop up if you used a hotmail address.

As for all toasts (this includes Plus! pop3 toasts) they don't show the subjects, only the amount of new email.


Nevertheless, for me personally I find being notified by normal email (which most boards support) enough.

this is a common sense... of course notifications are sent to an email specified in your board user cp and for it to appear on msn it should be an email which is used on msn and from hotmail.

you don't have to use hotmail to use it on MSN/WLM.

Yes i know that.. but does it show a notification when you receive a message if the email isn't a hotmail one?
