just one moment ago, I had aero glass, and i had been using it for quite a while (since i got vista) but now, it just suddenly changed to basic.. and everytime i try to change it back, it just stays on it.
Any help aprreciated

Have you got quicktime installed? If so stop it from starting up and restart then try to put it back

Nope, the only thing i did install recently is lastfm, but i dont see how that would effect it..

Some programs dont allow the use of the Aero Theme, i know Limewire is one of these programs, i have no idea why though sorry.

tried that, and all the other optiond there too.. Aero is still on the list, but it wont come off basic. And i know for definate that i've had aero before.

They havent worked since RC2

It's okay, a couple of restarts and setting changing, and i got aero back
thanks for everyone who posted.

some programs just aren't compatible with it, just ctrl+alt+del programs until aero comes back to find whats doing it

Limewire uses an old version of java which isnt compatible, the latest version of java is though

It is mainly programs that make use of Java. Limewire, certain websites that use Java Applets.
