RE: Help !!!!
yeh pretty sure this isn't possible mate, theres currently no tools/scripts (that i know of) that can do this for you and if there was you and all your employees would have to install it.

and also it's a breach of privacy (shitty excuse i know but its the law)

RE: Help !!!!!! (how to use scripts)
I'm sorry kaleem but no such thing is possible, this would be a breach of their privacy.

Assuming this is on a network you might want to look into some professional monitoring programs (even tho i doubt those could reveal who they are talking to, but it'll give you more insight into what they are doing).

it most certainly wouldn't, but if you created a script that both parties needed to install the protocol wouldn't be needed :) so sorry you'll need to find other means of spying on your employees.

Assuming your employees are using the company network, why not set up a proxy on the server which allows you to filter packets sent by MSN/WLM and allows you to see everything your employees are doing online?

RE: Help !!!! (contact list privacy invasion)
May I point out that in many countries spying on your employees is illegal and you can get seriously sued if you do, unless each and every employee knows that they are monitored. The method of monitoring doesn't matter in this case btw. Americans have fewer privacy protections than Europeans, but even within the US laws vary widely and can be very strict.

Also, take not that if you do (legally!) spy on your employees that your company can also be held responsible for anything which your employees do, not do, abuse, or whatever on the internet!!! eg: if one of your employees harasses somebody else via email, your company can be held responsible.

Do not take spying on your employess lightly. Spying should only be used as a last method when any other method fails. Think about a proper internet useage policy first, inform your employees what you expect from them and what they can/can't do, instead of spying. Show your ttrust and you would be surprised how effective that might be. This is always better than resorting to spying....
