I guess not really, since this is most likely a server glitch/hickup. eg: like a server that crashed or something.
Even if Messenger Plus! wasn't installed you still would have had this problem.
That means that MS itself should fix this (eg: reboot the server).
From time to time these things can happen, nothing to worry about. Though if it occurs more frequently or it doesn't get fixed all by itself within a day or two, it is best to contact Microsoft about it at:
