I log all my chats, and yesterday when I tried to open one of them, I got an error message that stated, "An error occurred while trying to decrypt your file. Please reboot or try again on another computer."

I restarted my computer and tried again, but received the same message. I cannot try on another computer, because the chat log files are exclusively on this computer.

Does anyone know what I can do to be able to view these conversations again?

I just realized I can read all the chat logs that are not password-protected. But the vast majority of my logs are password-locked and I get the error message when I try to open them....

I updated windows with windows update, but it still did not work. For some reason, it's only the password-protected conversations that I can't read. I turned off my password, so now I can read the conversations I have, but all of my conversations (dating from January 2004 to about now) are still password-protected, so I still can't access them. There has to be a way to access them... please help!
